I will start by saying I was skeptical of hiring a wedding planner and probably would not have done so had my venue not required it. I plan events as part of my job and didn't think I needed to pay someone else to plan my wedding. That said, I am so glad we hired Jill to help us plan our wedding. We had the most amazing time and our wedding thanks to leaving the details to Jill on our day to execute the vision we created. It was absolutely perfect. (Thank you Jill!)  Jill provided us with checklists, and communicated with us regularly to see how things were coming long, and nudged us when necessary. She met with us at our venue to walk through various aspects multiple times and always asked very thoughtful questions of how we wanted things to be handled, often anticipating things that we weren't necessarily thinking about. The planning process was great with Jill. On top of keeping us on track, she offered vendors as we needed them and as I like to say, played "bad cop" in some decision making where there wasn't a consensus on which way to go, she made the case for either way which was very helpful in moving forward. Fast forward to wedding day... it was amazing having Jill at the reins of everything. She knew the plan and handled everything - had everyone where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there, interfaced with all of the vendors and dealt with any issues that came up. I would hire Jill again in a heartbeat and would reccommend her to anyone planning a wedding. She thinks of everything before you do, heads off issues before they arise, and does it all with a smile and a sense of humor about herself. A+

"If you are considering getting a planner, RUN don't walk to get in touch with Jill. I am SO glad that we decided to hire a planner and even more elated that we had the opportunity to work with Jill. She was there for me every step of the way with all the questions I had and the ones I didn't even know to ask. Jill is flexible, dedicated and thoughtful, always putting my husband and I at the forefront of decision making with every vendor and family member's input. Jill told me her goal was to know us well enough to be able to make the last minute decisions on wedding day without disrupting our fun and she did that seamlessly.
